Make Text Wrap in PDF Book?

I have a PDF book called Yurugu. It is a scan of the book and I can see fold in the middle of the book. I doesn't read well on my kindle because the book is bigger than the screen and I have to scroll left and right to see all the words. I tried converting to Mobi with heuristics on hoping that this would cause the text to wrap but it did not work. Can Calibri use OCR to convert this PDF to text? I included a screenshot.

Your image indicates simply pictures of pages. You are on the right track with OCR, but that is not part of Calibre, so you will have to do it independently. If you run Linux, I suggest the Tesseract OCR engine with OcrFeeder as a front end--it lets you do double columns very easily, and it's free.

If you do your own OCR, you will want to take the text into a word processor for formatting and proofing (there WILL be errors!), and from there you can convert to an ebook format.

Interesting. I took a quick look at that site. Odd that they are offering multiple Peason textbooks that sell for $75 Cdn from Pearson's site with a time limit of one year and somehow mytextbooks.org is offering the same book for $25.50 Cdn with no DRM and no access time limit. Things that make you go hmmmm...

I downloaded different ones. Ranging from encyclopedias to ordinary novels. I worry that because of such frequent use of the iPad, my vision may drop. Don't your eyes get tired after reading this?
I hope it will be a good acquisition as my budget is limited
