Looking for an Android epub editor

I prefer to read on my phone but dislike the inconvenience of going to my computer, pulling up the book in Calibre editor, finding the typo, and correcting it there. Isn't there an epub editor I can use on my phone? I've searched & it seems all the threads asking about editors devolve into people recommending readers. Please, if your favorite app won't edit the epub then don't recommend it here. Thanks. |

A general issue with iOS, ChromeOS and Android is that the assumption is content browsing and consumption rather than content creation or editing. So this lack is partly a symptom.

So I take it that what I'm looking for doesn't exist? (BTW, I don't understand why this was put into Adroid Devices. I'm looking for Android Software.)

Android devices are essentially designed for consumption, not for creation. | |

@JsWolf Nice catch! Apparently, it's deprecated and the native webview should be used (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/...kit-on-android) But I thought they removed the preview feature from the current versions and made a standalone application for that. Do they still depend on it for the interface itself? Last edited by Markismus; 03-19-2021 at 08:58 AM. |
