How to add only epub extension in all local disk to calibre library?

i dont see option to add sub directories only for certain extension

Only one way: Check all excepte ePub.
But I agree that it can be a bit tedious, a "Check all" box or "Switch to exlusive mode" could be useful.

That screen is for the AUTO ADD folder to prevent unwanted files being processed (if that folder has other uses)
Look at the second tab (Adding Actions): Bottom button

When I started with Calibre, I imported only a selected file type from BAEN CD's.
Using the command prompt: (for more command help: Type Help xcopy)
(the /s say do sub directories also)

xcopy  <the base path>*.epub <auto add folder path or tempfolder> /s

In windows explorer search to find all epub files, then select all and drag and drop into calibre.

maybe in future we need this on calibre
