Need a durable cheap e reader
As the title stated, I would like to buy a bit more durable e reader, budget is below 110 dollars, last two e reader was kobo clara HD and kobo Glo HD, the kobo glo HD's charging port just become loose and now I can't use it, and the kobo clara HD's screen just.. broke.

E-ink screens are generally fragile, no matter what the brand is. Kobo Forma has a more durable screen, at least in theory, but is above your price limit.
So your only option seems to be a cheap tablet, not an eink reader. |

The Clara HD's screen didn't just break. It's something you've done.
Were you careful when you plugged the cable into the Glo HD? Did you ever do the push in the cablewhen it's backwards too many times? |

Amazon makes a kid's Kindle but in my opinion Kindles suck compared to Kobos.

Kindles are not more reliable then most Kobo. They use the same glass backed screens that break the same way. So whatever the OP did to break the screen would have broken the screen of a PW4.

Using the same screen does not make the reliability the same. Case and frame design, materials, and quality of construction can all be big factors.

Implied in my post about the kid's Kindle is that I'd guess that it's been ruggedized to withstand the poor treatment a kid is likely to give it.

The only kid's Kindle I've seen was not visibly ruggedized. Looked just like a regular Kindle Basic with it's 167PPI display. The only difference is that it included a collection of kid's books and a rainbow birds cover.

In that case it seems like a poor choice for a parent to make. Kids drop things and whatnot.

No, the Kid's Kindle is just a crippled regular Kindle. Bad value. A Paperwhite or Kobo Libra with a sleep cover. Don't give them the WiFi password.
