Calibre ignores duplicates of a book

When I import and send multiple copies/editions of a book in Calibre, only one copy goes to kindle. I want all the copies to be sent to kindle. Is that possible?

I suspect that this is an Amazon optimisation - if the books have the same title and author, I expect that Amazon treats them all as the same book, and just replaces the ones received earlier ones with the latest one.

You could try changing the title of the different versions, giving them a suffix, perhaps?

change the save template under preferences->sending devices to books to include {id} to disambiguate books with identical titles/authors.
