Convert Mobi format to Epub
Is there an easy-ish way to convert all books in my library that have a Mobi format to Epub? It is easy enough for a particular author but I have many authors.

After conversion, I would also like to remove the Mobi format from all books.

First you search for books that have mobi format, but does not have en epub format using this search

Code:
formats:"=MOBI" not formats:"=EPUB"
Now you select all these books > convert books > bulk convert > modify the conversion settings if you want and change the output format to EPUB.

After the conversion finishes, right click all the selected books > remove books > remove files of a specific format for selected books > choose MOBI format.

Always be careful and double check when removing books.

Edit: Before removing mobi format, make sure the conversion job finished successfully for all books in the JOB MANAGER. And to be sure, before removing books, you should use this search:

Thanks very much capink. It was easier than I thought it would be. Is there any limit on number of books for bulk convert? I'm guessing it could be in the 1000's.

Unless disk space is very tight, I'd advise that you retain the MOBI format. Otherwise, if you come across something that didn't convert correctly (but appeared to) a couple of years from now, you'll be stuck.

Or order by the format type column and select 1st, find last and Shift click. Then Convert.
Make sure defaults are sensible!
