error loading just one particular book

I'm stuck at caliber version 3.48 because my Mac is limited to OS 10.11.6. Recently got the below errors while trying to load a specific book. It opens in calibre's reader fine. I opened it in the editor and did some of the automatic repairs. But when I try and load it to my paper white I still get the following error. Any ideas?

That's an I/O error writing to the kindles drive. It typically indicates the drive is failing. You can try reformatting it or resetting the kindle.

thank you for the reply. I was afraid that was the answer but found it so weird that I could write other books to the kindle, just not that one
