Cant Register Kindle
Hi all.

My father in law ordered a Kindle, but it seemed like it was lost in transit, so Amazon issued another. The second has arrived and works fine, and the first just arrived, but gives an error when I try to register it. Because it was a cancelled order, have Amazon put some kind of block on the first Kindle so it cant be registered?

Amazon has voided the kindle as being lost or stolen. So it isn’t going to possible to be registered.

Amazon believes that it was stolen and could have even reported it as such. Contact Amazon and report it as finally being received. They will either say return it or maybe you could even pay for it and they would reinstate it so it could be registered. I was raised to believe that honesty is always the best policy

But, yes, Amazon will have block-listed it.
