'and' converting to '&'

I'm adding game manuals to my Calibre library. I usually put the developer's name as the author.

Developer of a few DOS games I have has an ampersand in the title. I tried changing that to 'and,' but Calibre changed it back to an ampersand and split the authors.

Is there a way to not have it convert it?

try changing this in tweaks and see if it helps:

authors_split_regex = '(?i),?\\s+(and|with)\\s+'

into

Code:

authors_split_regex = '(?i),?\\s+(with)\\s+'
