Two houses down from where I live. Someone has wifi signal and I can pick it up if i sit outside my doorstep. He has a linksys wireless setup and I have a centrino that always me to pick up signal. I wanted to know is there anything I can buy to pick up the signal alot better from my end? I dont know the guy so I cant ask him may i setup a signal booster so I can use your wireless signal.

You would need a Wireless Repeater (sometimes also called Range Extenders) to bounce or amplify the radio signals of an access point. But from what you said I assume the signal was only available outside? In that case, the repeater would have to be assembled somewhere outside as well (or in the house which seperates you and the guy)....
