Hi. I have no idea what I am doing, but I tried searching all over the internet on what I am doing wrong and searched the forum for my error message and got no results.
In the Calibre Preferences Nework and Sharing... I set up some user accounts, I set up some passwords. I automatically run the server. Within my home network, I have no problems. Everything is accessible. When I am NOT in my home network I get "This Site Can't Be Reached. xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx refused to connect ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED." I went to https://whatismyipaddress.com/ to find out what IP address to use. I changed the listening port to a random number (because I am pretending this is making me safer)... I went to Windows Firewall and allowed calibre.exe and calibre-server through on the inbound rules. I get nowhere. Does anyone have any hints for me that would help? Thank you so much in advance. ![]() |

Did you Port forward your router? (assumes your ISP allows this)
