Bookmark "dog ear" image size?
Anyone know of a way to modify the size or style of the "dog ear" for bookmarks (using a Forma, but I assume it's not device specific) when using the Kobo reader app? I know about koreader, but really would prefer to keep using the kobo reader app, if possible. I just find the size of the "dog ear" to be way too big and gets in the way of text when the margins are small.

I don't know of any way to change the size, but we Kobo beta testers had a back-and-forth about this recently. The problem with making the dog ear smaller is that it then is completely obscured by your finger, making it hard to tell if the bookmark has actually been set (or cleared).

I rarely use the Kobo app, but the "dog ear" bookmark has always bugged me. Why not a regular book mark shape? Dog eared paper books was and is a huge no-no for me.

In that case my wife and I won't be spending eternity together. But, I'll probably be able to wave to her from whichever special circle I end up in. She seems to think there is one for those who like to pun.

But, on the device, the dog-ear seem to fit. The action is tapping the corner which seems to fit with using a dog-ear. I've never understood the "regular book mark shape". I never used that type of bookmark in paper books. And it seems to be a "current place" type, rather than having multiple occurrences (which was part of the discussion that @RobertJSawyer referred to).

FWIW, we (and by we, I mean @poire-z ) solved this issue in KOReader by making the icon DPI- and margin- aware. Which means it's only really tiny if you let it: meaning when you read with almost null T/R margins.
