Both Polish books (built-in) and Modify ePub (plugin) has the option to update metadata in the ePub. Run one of those on the book and then re-send it to the device. (May have to delete from device first.)

@pasterzppp: It should just happen. Calibre will update the metadata in books when they are being sent to the device. If the book is already on the device, it might need to be removed first before the metadata is reread.
It is possible to turn this off by disabling the metadata writer plugin for the format you are using on the device. If sending a new book to the device does not have the latest metadata in it, you should check the status of the plugins. |
