Calibre-"Choose a location for your new calibre e-book library"
When I run calibre it opens file browser and displays message "Choose a location for your new calibre e-book library" across top ribbon.

When i choose folder, file browser closes and nothing happens, repeats when I run calibre again.

Tried run as admin.

Here is command prompt results:


C:\Users\Michael>calibre-degub -g
'calibre-degub' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

My bad. it is calibre-debug according to the doc.
I thought it was calibre --debug

You probably need to use the full path to the command. To use it without the path, you need to add the path to calibre to the PATH environment variable. Assuming a default installation, you probably want to run:

C:\Program Files\Calibre2\calibre-debug -g

If you are using the portable version of calibre, you will need to use the path to where that is installed.
