InkPad 3 Pro broken screen

Hey all,

I've gotten PB InkPad 3 pro as a birthday gift this May, have used it without any problems until this August, haven't been using it since because of work etc. It has been stored in a drawer in the case supplied with the PB when I wasn't using it.

I felt like reading again today, so I took my PB, started it up, and found out the screen in a state visible in the image attached. Tried turning it off and on again many times, tried charging it, nothing works.

Anyone encountered this? Is there some way to fix this? I've always treated the device with care, it never fell on the floor or anything, so I cannot believe that the screen broke out of the blue...

Yes the screen is broken. Did you happen to put something heavy on it while it was in the drawer?

Nope, there was nothing on it.

The Pocketbook support in Germany lets you sign a statement confirming that you always handled the device with care and the screen didn't break from your own fault. Then they repair it for free under warranty.

Did you use a cover which pressed the corners together?
