is it possible to sort several books according to 'strictly alphabetic' at once?

If you are wanting to reset the Author or Title sort, yes, Bulk is really the best way.
Select the group of books: Tap 'E' (metadata edit bulk mode): Tic the box Update Title sort: OK |
