How to open a Boox safely

Since I cannot find anyone to repair my Boox 60, I plan to open it to free the jammed on/off switch.
Can anyone suggest how the clamshell case is opened? There appears to be an opening at the bottom to insert a tool to prise the back off. If it's like an iPod or Android phones and tablets, it's only a matter of carefully working around the edge with a tool to free the plastic clips that hold the case together.

It would help if you could post a picture of the opening. Later models like the M series had screws at the bottom.
