Advice on modding for highlighting?
Hi all,
Thank you for the amazing posts and tips/tricks here over time. I have an Aura One and have had various kobos for about 6 years now. Like many of you I have a great Calibre library/server I access with it and I dump various books in there. Right now my Kobo is not modded but on the most recent firmware. My main issue is that highlighting is near-useless. And I need to use it. It's the one thing that keeps me thinking of switching to a Kindle. Highlighting on the One is pathetically slow, a process of hold + drag, hope it highlighted what I thought, then constantly move handles back and forth and eventually give up knowing that it's going to grab an extra period or miss a letter but I'm frustrated enough to not care. Furthermore, when I actually do make highlights, what's the point? I can't get them off without tethering it to a computer and using kobonotes.com or similar. So, wise ones, is there a simple "if you mod it with x and use y, you'll be happy!" answer to this? Thank you very much in advance! |
