Calibre just crashes when reading my Fire8

Hello,
When I connect my Fire8, Calibre will chug along on it for about an hour or so and then just crash out and close.

There have been times where it has given me a Communication Error and when I did the dump of the error, this is what I got:

calibre, version 4.22.0
ERROR: Error: Error communicating with device

Question......is there an upper limit to how many books I can have on this device? If so, it would not surprise me at all to learn that I just have too many books.

You've run out of memory. If you are running the 32-bit Calibre, you need to switch to run the 64-bit version.

However, if you are running a 32-bit OS, you'll have to scrap it for a 64-bit OS.

Install the 64bit version of calibre

Thank you very much, both of you. I think I had to do this once before and just forgot that the 64 bit version was out there.

If you uninstall the 32 bit version (Libraries and settings remain), you won't get reminded (or use) to install the wrong version again
