More and more evidence that the T3 is discontinued

There have been rumors since late last year that the T3 was being discontinued. The evidence appears to be piling up. The Palm Store does not list the T3 any more. There are rumors on PalmInfocenter here. Here's another user confirmation from PalmAddicts.

It would seem that when current stocks are exhausted, there will be no more new units available for purchase. Sad to think that they would kill what is still a very popular unit. Hopefully this indicates that there are more Palms to come, but I'm not holding my breath.

So far, I think my next PDA will be a T3, again. I mean, I'd like to, but these are bad news. Well, I guess there's hope for me in eBay and its Mexican subsidiary.

I think now's the time for PalmOne to come out with the perfect PDA to ride side by side with the T|5. Alas, I think that they'll just ride the T|5 and the Treo 650 (and the company itself) into the ground.

As a Mac guy, the PPC is a total anathema, but the Palm world seems like it's leaving me no choice. I hope the TapWave and this new Palm for Linux prove to be good signs.
