Nested Collections

Is there a way to generate nested collections on my Kobo? My standard groupings work well with fiction genres (although the number of pages is getting a bit unwieldy), but I'm going to be loading various RPG files on the Forma (I have SPAACE!), and don't want to clutter up the collection list with a collection for each game system.

So, what I'm after is something of a hierarchical structure like this:

RPG
System 1
Titles in System 1
System 2
Titles in System 2

Is this possible with the current firmware?

The other alternative would be some kind of on board tag browser.

That would be nice, but no, I don't believe it's currently possible.
The solution might be to install KOReader, which lets you browse the folder structure on your Kobo.

(As well as Calibre tags, since you mentioned a tag approach).

You could also manually edit the 'Series' metadata in Calibre for the RPGs. Or create 'Collections' in your library on the device itself.

I thought that might be the case. I don't particularly need to see the file structure (I can do this from the Mac), but the idea of reducing collection clutter appeals - it would be really nice to get the collections down to a single page (hey, I can hope!), probably mirroring my LibraryThing genre-based collections. Then within each, collections based on more detailed genre breakdown.

You do not need Series based collections any longer with firmware 4.20 or later.

I don't use Series based collections, and it's not what I'm after either. I'm after nested collections as I described in my OP so I'm not faced with 20 pages of collections when I select collections.

It's similar to series collections, but not the same; I guess I will end up prefixing the title with the game system.
