Space missing before and after words in italics

Hello,

I am importing and converting ebooks to KOBO EPUB format, using specific extensions.
It works perfect except that the spaces before and after words in italics are lost/missing.

Example : We go to thisFrenchshop today.

Did anyone already encounter this problem ?

Converting from which format? If from PDF, see this thread.

This was discussed recently in either the Kobo forum or one of the Kobo/kepub plugin threads. There might have been a version of the plugins that did this, but, the latest released don't seem to. But, my experience with this is that any time I have seen it in the kepub version, the spaces were missing in the original version. If that isn't the case, we'd need to see a example to see what is going wrong.

Thanks for your quick replies.
Actually I opened Calibre a few minutes ago and a new version of Calibre + an extension KoboTouchExtended was proposed.
After installing these versions and re-importing the relevant ebook, the problem is solved.
