Download more cover variations from sources?
It looks like calibre just downloads one cover from each metadata source (eg: amazon, google, etc), but if the source has multiple covers, how can I influence which cover is chosen? Right now I have to manually download the cover and drag it into calibre (too bad I can't drag the cover image url directly into calibre).

On one book, the cover chosen is for the kindle version. How can I influence it to get the cover for the physical version? Is it related to the values in the IDs field? When I blanked out the IDs field, it still defaulted to the kindle version.

What would be nice is if the cover downloader/browser will present all cover variations so the user has more choices.

FWIW this is one of my heavily used PI (not just for alternate covers).

enable the google images source in preferences->metadata download to get more cover choices.

Also remember the the download metadata has additional source configuration options allowing you to Cherry Pick from your favorites

On the main screen, you assign numbers for priority of what to choose for a COVER
You tick sources you want to use
And
you can fine tune each FIELD imported from Metadata source
by selecting the source: clicking the configure button below: add or remove ticks. Repeat for each source used .
