No margins in the Preferences window
Just updated from 4.13 to 4.18. Is anyone else having this kind of issue with margins in the Preferences window?

Yeah, Cover grid, Column coloring and Column icons look fine here too. Glad that this isn't a Windows 7 problem

It doesn't look so bad in dark mode. I never noticed it. But i would have noticed it in light mode.

What's your font? I didn't really notice it either. I think part of it might be my font choice too, I use Calibri () instead of Segoe UI.

I just tried changing fonts, it persists. It only happens with these settings windows:

- Interface > Look & feel: Main interface, Book details, Tag browser, Cover browser, Quick View
- Import/export > Adding books: all tabs

The rest seem OK.

Also, the text "calibre 4.18 created by Kovid Goyal [xxxx books, 1 selected]" used to be bold. I wondered if the author just decided to change it up, I noticed the padding thing when I went to check if there is a setting for this.
