Lume Books (formerly Endeavour Media) are offer 50 free books today and tomorrow.

I checked those out and they are indeed free in the USA as well. I picked them up. Now I doubt that I will get a chance to read them given all the books I have but its free so I may see about checking them out.

Mystery people: check out the Margaret Duffy one. I've only found 3 or 4 of these books available in the US, but they are great! Good characterizations, not plastic heroes. I re-downloaded them, to read them again.

I have a Kobo and buy all of my books from Amazon. Calibre is the not so secret sauce for converting them to epub.

I just finished and highly recommend the series that started with Command by Antony Melville-Ross.
