iPad and calibreweb

I have a Calibre server set up in ubuntu and calibreweb in docker. I'm using a reverse proxy so I can access calibre via calibreweb.mydomian.com.

I can access it fine, see all the books on any device using the above address. (I have a mix but mostly comics right now)

However whenever I try to read a comic (but any book as well) nothing happens. I can select to download but it never downloads. I can't read in the browser.

I've been trying on my iPad but it does the same on my desktop Mac.

Did I miss something in set-up?

Open the console in your browser, look for errors, look at the server logs for errors.

How do I open console on an iPad?

You cant, but you said it happens on desktop mac as well.

When I try to open a comic it just says this:

I can get logs from docker for calibreweb but they show nothing. Not sure where calibre logs are?

what is caliblur.js that doesnt come from a standard calibre install. I'm guessing calibreweb is not the builtin calibre content server, you should ask fo rsupport from the creators of calibreweb

Preferences: Sharing over the net: Show Server Logs ( button far right)

Yeah, calibreweb is a web-based front end for calibre. My calibre is installed on the ubuntu computer but not in docker. Calibreweb is a docker container.

That's how I understand it - it's probably pretty simplified. Thanks for the help - I'll try the calibreweb people.
