Kindle Oasis 8th(2016) cover charged problem?

Hello,

I just have my first experience with the Kindle Oasis 1st generation, and overall I think it so much better than my previous paperwhite. But I noticed 1 question: so every time I stop reading and put my kindle into cover, it'll charge from the cover battery. I know it's the default setting as it's supposed to do, but is there any setting I can toggle so that it only charge when the battery is below a certain level?

Normally I read for about 30mins - 1 hour and stop, so when I put it in cover it's battery still remains 70-80%. I'm worried if it keep charging at that state, it will soon drain off my battery life.

How is things going with you guys? What do you think about this problem, or is it really a problem at all?

Personally, I keep mine in the case. It's still lighter than my old k4nt in it's case. I do occasionally take it out of the case if it's been a long day, but after 3+ years, my Oasis is still going strong...

There's no way to do that, and no need either -- the Kindle's "100%" indication is actually more like 80% (evidence: if you fully charge an Oasis 1 from the wall and then unplug it from the cover, it sits at 100% for an hour or two).

In my experience the thing lasted three years or so before serious battery capacity loss kicked in: faster than other Kindles but not disastrously so.
