Unhappy iPadOS bug CC drops share link to iBooks

I have been using CC since Apple broke the link to Calibre. I just signed up for a subscription today. I hope the premium version would not have this bug, but it does.
The bug: I successfully downloaded 3 EPUBS from Calibre I selected the read option which pops up the apps action list to move the file to an app on the iPad. I selected iBooks and the file moved. The next book with the same action brought the action list of apps and iBooks was no longer there as an app to send the book to. After much screwing around with no luck I deleted CC from the iPad and reinstalled it. iBooks was back as an action app. I used it once and then it was gone again. CC is behaving badly. I use iBooks to read and I guess the last IOS update broke it.

Is anyone else having the problem? Is it going to be fixed or do I dump CC forever?

My Bad!

iBooks does not accept anything other that .PDF or .EPUB formats. The book that was creating the issue was a .MOBI file. Of course the action was not there. Sometimes the light does not come on in time to save a lot of typing and searching.

Exclamation Calibre Companion no Longer works with Books on iPad running iOS 13

I'm also having trouble with the 'Copy to Books' option from the 'Read' link on the book details screen, but oddly enough, the problem only occurs on the more recent IOS version 13.1.

I have 2 iPads that I read on. One is an iPad Air II (old, cracked screen) that can only run iOS version 12 (12.4.6, to be exact).

On my newer, inherited iPad Pro (the big one, not one of the more current ones), running iOS 13 (13.4.1), launches Books, but does not copy the book over. I tried numerous books, and got the same result each time.

This was how I was reading all of my books (I have no other eReaders), so I'm hoping that someone else can corroborate my problem and we can find a fix.
