Getting organized, try to add "My Tags"

Hello, I am new, so please forgive me if I ask a stupid question.
I have library which contains f.e. 342 novels. I have transferred all of them to calibre but as I have plenty more books, which need to be in other categories, have another "My Tags"... I want to give these 342 books the tab "Belletristic".

How do I do that?

Thank you

Select all books (ctrl+A), Press E, enter "Belletristic" in the Add Tags field, press Enter.

That's a Bulk Metadata Edit.

That was easy, is there a place where I could have found that?

Possibly in the videos ==>> Video Tutorials

Ctrl+A is a 'standard sequence' for select all, and Edit metadata in Bulk is an option in the Edit Metadata button drop down.

Aside : The late Larry Tesler 'invented' Ctrl+A/C/V/X/Z etc when he was at Xerox working on the original WIMP user interface design - we owe him a lot. He died a few weeks ago.
