Destination "uuid" in Search & Replace Metdata dialog
By accident (here a nicer word for "mistake" ) I used "uuid" as Destination field in the Search & Replace Metadata dialog.

What did this do? I cannot see any change. Where is this uuid column? Is my library now corrupt? Thanks for any help!

uuid is an internal identifier, it is used to, for example, match books in the library to books on the device. If you have a backup you should restore from it.

IIRC you can use the custom column with a template like {uuid}

Your screen capture is too fizzy to actually read. Can you please redo it and repost it so it's cleanly able to be read? How did you manage to take a screen capture and make it so fuzzy?

Probably with an image editor to obfuscate the unimportant and possibly personal data. The pertinent bits, the source and destination fields, are clear.
