I tried to edit the uuid in the opf file and i caused 3 new errors


Ill attach the epub only having the uuid error

Can you please help me pass all tests at

You can't use the book title as a UUID. Edit the following lines:

content.opf:

<dc:identifier opf:scheme="UUID" id="BookID">urn:uuid:9626e5fb-b5d8-4e90-a367-8d4d0a740d8d</dc:identifier>

toc.ncx:

<meta content="urn:uuid:9626e5fb-b5d8-4e90-a367-8d4d0a740d8d" name="dtb:uid"/>


(You can generate your own UUID online.)

How can i make mimetype file first in the zip/epub file

Im using android smartphone i dont have pc

Please help ive been trying to get mimetype file as first for at least an hour ty

Attached is a zip of the files with the uuid problem fixed in case that helps

If you are using Sigil or Calibre, there are plugins to allow you to run the latest version of epubcheck locally and if you get an error, you can click on it to go to the place where the error is. It's easier to work on the ePub that way.

To get the mimetype first you simply make the zip with only the mimetype using the -0 option to ensure it is uncompressed. Then add the other files compressed to the archive. See ZIP in our wiki.
