Keep Getting This Error Message
Hi

I have recently had to replace my old PC which broke.

I now have a new Windows 10 PC and installed Calibre 4.11.2 from scratch but used a copy of the old Calibre settings folder I had saved. Everything seems O.K.

Unfortunately , when I use and close down the Calibre Editor, the following error message now appears.

There seem to be no bad effects from this but I would like to fix whatever is causing it.

Can anyone help?

Check this thread from a month back: Fail Fast Exception error which may help you (pay special attention to message #29 from Kovid Goyal in that thread.

Thank you.

I missed that thread, at the time, as my old computer was not working.

I thought the problem was something to do with my new setup, so I did not think to search for it first.

Hopefully I can now just ignore the issue as not a problem.

Given that you have a Kobo, you'll want to update Calibre to 4.12 to fully support the new 4.20.x firmware.
