Which Kobo for library books

I am looking for an ereader which will enable me to download books direct from my UK library, which uses Borrowbox - https://fe.bolindadigital.com/. Up to now I have been using a Kobo Glo HD. I like the reader but find it very frustrating having to download to ADE on another device first, with frequent problems caused by DRM. Would the Kobo Libra H20 enable me to do this, or is there another one at less than £150?

More proof DRM is evil and it doesn't stop "piracy". None of the libraries here do ebooks, so I buy them, write/edit and also get ancient out of copyright ones.

If your library uses borrow box, or RB digital you are screwed.
Kobo only supports overdrive. Across all models. The current range, Clara, libra, forma can download directly from overdrive, so long as the book is also being sold in kobo store. I have had one library loan that was not, so direct link did not work.h
Mine switched to rbdigital who have the worst library app I have ever experienced. Even the web site in chrome is buggy.
You will have to do the checkout with ade on pcs then copy to kobo dance

All you can do is complain to your library that they chose an inferior product, and or scrounge the use of an overdrive account from friend or family in another county.
I was able to convince my daughter that what I really wanted for Xmas was a copy of her london library card.

Well, Kobo uses overdrive in countries where that service is enabled or ADE.

I would like that overdrive could be enabled here but ADE is better than nothing, at least I can use the library that I have attended since I learned to read.
