Children's Book to EPUB conversion problems
Hello, folks,
Using 4.10.1 (64bit). Tried uploading DOCx file then PDF to convert to EPUB then MOBI. It is a children's book with lots of colorful illustrations and text on many of the pictures. It comes out wonky. How do I fix this? What am I doing wrong? The DOCx file is fine but the conversions are not. Thanks.

If you have a manuscript quality DOCX (i.e. what the writer/copy editor created) and you want MOBI, convert it directly.
Definitely not via PDF and only via EPUB if you discover you need to edit the XHTML markup code. But I'm wondering if it's a Fixed Layout book (think Vanity Fair style magazines) created with something like InDesign or QuarkExpress, they can be very hard to convert. BR |
