New Update broke ability to write with hand on surface?

Every update makes this device more and more unusable it seems. With the new update I can't rest my hand on the screen as I write -- it brings up some kind of zoom popup now. Anyone else have this problem? Is there any way to turn it off?

Any way to restore the previous firmware (or even the one before that) without losing my content?

I presume it happens in Note ap? Than this is new feature to zoom page. For writing in zoom turn off palm reaction (hand icon with semicircle)

There is an option in the Note tool that desactivate/activates the sensibility of the hand. Which allows only the pencil to draw.

This is a known bug already. The palm detection feature is broken with the update, and the workaround for now, is to manually disable the touch which the built in reader should support.

This is what I've been reading. I don't have my device yet.

I have exactly the same issue, it's just bad.

On the note app, you need to every single time deactivate the palm when you open the document again. Doable, but irritating to have to do that every time. This issue was not there before the upgrade of course.

On the NeoReader (pdf/word/...), I actually have a bigger problem because it happens quite often that my palm will activate some dictionary, turn pages or zoom, or any other stupid thing while commenting on a document. Funny (...) story is when you change the zoom on a word document in neoreader with some comments on it, most of the comments are getting messed up to other places of the document (for some reason some do stick at the correct location of your text). You can deactivate the zoom, but not some of the other options.

I hope they will improve this. Soon.
