ken burns snippet in calibre editor

You can copy this screenshot text into calibre snippets, then invoke it in the editor with kb1 followed by ctrl-j. The <style></style> command and a template for an image will appear with the cursor at the $1 placeholder. You can start typing any img already in the book. It will autocomplete. immediately the img will zoom/unzoom according to your set speed. Use sparingly for good taste. Unlike videos and even animated GIFs, this uses up very little overhead. I uploaded editor image as an animated GIF and from that you can see the img moving, but I fear that when uploaded it will show on this forum only as a still picture. See calibre manual how to add an img to editor and how to add a new snippet. The very first time I ever saw "The Ken Burns Effect" was in his best documentary "The Civil War". Best regards, Pop

oops! I forgot to include the copyable text itself:
Code:
<style> .kb1 {overflow: hidden;  position: relative; }
              .kb1 img {  width:100%;  animation: move 20s ease infinite;  position: relative;}
             @-webkit-keyframes move {  0% {transform-origin: center center; transform: scale(1);}
                                                                  50% {transform: scale(2); } } </style>

<div style="width:50%;float:left;margin-right:.5em;" class="kb1">
  <img src="$1" /></div>
  <p>Text to right if img at fifty percent.</p>
