possible to sort by date added to library?

I've done some searching and haven't found a way to accomplish this, but it seems it ought to be possible:

i want to sort my library so the most recently added are at the top. I had had it sorted by modified, then published but then did a mass wipe of extraneous formats (forgetting that messing with formats counts as modified)... oops... now the most recently added are just mixed in with the rest. I suspect I'm SOL for this round, but is there something I can set up for next time I want to do a mass action?

Right click (if the date column is not showing) in the list: sort by: Date
If the order is wron, do it again. It is a direction toggle operation.
If the column shows, click the header (and toggle if needed)

All bets are GONE if you have repurposed the date field.

You can sort on the Calibre ID since it's incremental. Column built from other with {id:0>8d}, I keep it hidden and use it with the View Manager plugin.
