Can't access the library "Book" in T65s

Hello,
I just bought a Boyue T65s and, after loading an hundred books using Calibre, I'm not able to see them in the "Book tab", i.e. the library: I touch it, the screen goes black and it returns to the "Home tab". Please see the attached video.

By the way I can open the books using the file manager.

Any suggestion would be very appreciated.

From what I can tell, it looks like a JDRead Venus running Likebook Air firmware (both have identical internals).

What appears to have happened is that the home shell is crashing and reloading.

I think you need to check the file and folder names of the books you loaded onto it.

Also, are you using a USB cable, or Calibre Companion?

I removed all books and uploaded them again in small bunches.
I found the problem in the metadata of some books from project gutemberg: the "(Fictitious character)" tag!

Now the reader works as expected.

By the way, I confirm that the firmware is Likebook, or at least it looks so in the starting splashscreen.

I've a feeling that someone had a large unsold inventory of JDRead Venus that they wanted to move, but couldn't do so within China, so someone would've suggested to them to flash the Likebook Air firmware and sell it outside of China.
