Is serial jailbreak possible on KT4?

Hello, I have a KT4 updated to 5.12.2, so my only option would be the serial jailbreak. Somewhere I've read that for KT3 and KT4 is not possible, somewhere else that it is. Could someone shed light on it? Thanks

I've read in a chinese blog (translated by google) and also into some replyes here, but indeed they didn't do on a KT3 or KT4, they just put these models into the models possible of serial jailbreak...

@NuLuJe: Perhaps we should collect a list of models in the Open Sesame thread of the "Androidized" models. This topic has come up several times recently.
I only have a few of the models since I quit collecting Kindle models some time ago. I think that I only have two or three of the "Androidized" models.
It will have to be for the members here to provide the information.

Or did the KOA2 slip through the cracks? (I seem to recall those being hard to open without killing 'em, anyway...).

I think KOA2 is androidized. It certainly exports /mnt/us weirdly and misbehaves toggling USBnetworking.

I have seen no reports of opening KOA2 without destroying it.

I do have a KOA2, it is jail broken, but I do not recall what all I might have done with/to it.
I am pretty sure it is "Androidized".

On a more serious note, there is a lot of android development /hacking expertise over at xda-developers for anyone who might run into a brick wall with androidized models.

The problem is that you make the jailbreaks public and that means that Labs26 can then fix what exploit(s) were used.

Not so much, we had/have support for the KOA2 and mine is still running 5.9.x
