New Muses firmware

I got today Muses firmware update through OTA (version BYRead-V2.2.0-202001011). New UI includes ability to set light levels for both white and orange diodes (without using the mysterious Chinese-only app) . Android version is still 6.0.1

I installed the new firmware in my Muses and I'm already regretting my decision. Last tiem I upgrade/update something that works...
Some issues:
- It takes much longer for the books to load
- The library doesn't find any books. They are still in the Books folder in the root directory (as they were before) but the library is empty and it says that I should put my books in the Books folder in the root directory. I tried rescanning to no avail.
- There was a useful feature which allowed you to have a Home page in which you could see the last 10 books you had open. this was useful to change beween books if you were reading several books at the same time. This feature is no longer there.

I would change to the previous firmware. Does anybody know if this is possible?

I'm experiencing the same issue on the Likebook Mars, and it is a major show-stopper for me as I can no longer easily access my library. If you do find a solution, please pass it on and I'll be sure to do the same. How infuriating to take a working device and "break" it with firmware updates.

Yes. I promised myself that I would never again update something that works but somehow got dragged into this update. Never, never again!!!

In any case, I'll let you know if I find a solution.

- I didn't have any problem with my Mars finding my books under the new firmware.
- On the home page at the top menu bar there is a filter symbol (looks like a side view of the top of a countersunk screw) press this and it will let you change to 'Reading Books' or Recently Added, Read or Unread Books.

GOT MINE WORKING!

I went to the new "App" page, then opened "UserSettings".
Select Apps.
Select "BoyueOS".
Select "Storage".
Select "Clear data".

I did the same steps for the "File Manager" app as well.

Once I did the above, I rebooted the device and it now shows ALL of my books, sorted by date of upload.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try at home this evening.

Thanks a lot. I hope it works with mine as well. It should. I'll try this evening.
