Changing Custom Columns Names?

I have created a custom column called loved
I have added all my favourite books to it starred

However I would like to change the column name

Is that possible and will the books already in it have to be added to the new name column?

You can change everything in a Custom Column defintion except the Column type, changes will cascade through existing books.

Thank you. So if I change the column name the 500 books in it will still be in the new named column?
Dont fancy doing it again if not lol

Same place you created it: but this time select it: then click Edit instead of +
Turns out you can also doubleclick the name and the Edit form comes up

Will try tomorrow when I am home. Was nervous about doing it to lose my editing on that column

Stay away from that minus -
(and you should always have a FRESH, FULL backup of the Library folder before messing making adjustments to the DB fields. rename is pretty safe, but remember you may have configured plugins to make use of columns)
