Windows 10 Blue Screen - Onyx Boox N96

I recently updated my pc from Windows 7 to Windows 10 Home. Prior to the upgrade my Onyx Boox N96 always connected via the USB port without any issues. Unfortunately, since the Windows update each time I try to connect the reader Windows 10 Blue Screens with an error notice of "Unexpected Kernal Mode Trap." I worked with Microsoft support to reinstall each of the USB drivers. I even re-flashed the system's BIOS to the most current version. But the system still Blue Screens whenever the reader tries to connect. Microsoft insists that it's the reader. However, the reader still works perfectly if I connect it to a Windows 7 machine.

Has anyone else experienced a system crash on a Windows 10 machine when connecting via a USB port? If so, were you able to resolve the issue?
