Amazon.com metadata plugin defaulting to Kindle Edition

Would it be possible to make an option so when searching for a book on Amazon it will use "https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Ddigital-text&field-keywords= " to find the book in question, so it defaults to a Kindle Edition ASIN?

The problem with that is one needs different field names per amazon country site and it can result in not finding books if the kindle edition is missing.

Would there be another way to priorities Kindle Editions when doing look-ups via the Amazon metadata plugin?

That's why it would be optional. This would only find Kindle editions when checked, and return to regular search when needed. Failing that, would it be possible to have an option to have it default to the Kindle edition when doing Amazon metadata searches?
