REQUEST: New Source for Covers

There is an "Internet Speculative Fiction Database" (http://www.isfdb.org) which has hundreds of contributed covers for Sci-Fi and Fantasy.

All covers are CONTRIBUTED and no charge is required to access them (you don't even have to have a membership to use the database.)

Is there any possibility of adding this as a source for COVERS?

all metadata sources including for covers in calibre are via plugins. Should be perfectly possible to create a plugin for this source.

There is already the "Search the Internet" plugin (which is also customizable), to help search for XYZ (not limited to covers), for the selected book. All yo have to do is Drag and Drop (into the details or MDE windows). Kovid's Plugin system allow for the 'Download Metadata' action to also apply a Bias (use weight) to things it finds .

As with most parts of Calibre, there is usually MULTIPLE ways of getting from A to Z

Thanks, "TheDucks", I haven't even the slightest idea what you mean (if I can't click an icon or a menu choice, I pretty much have to get help.) I am sure what you say is correct, but I have no idea how to apply it.
