improved navigation in new firmware (and Dropbox question)

A few weeks ago I was surprised by a new update of the firmware on my Forma, and I must admit that this time for me it was a really pleasant surprise. I don't want to detract from the problems some users seem to have with it, problems that may occur or ways in which it still leaves something to be desired. But so far I haven't found anything that works less well than it used to myself, and I find the redesign of the navigation interface (e.g. for skipping from chapter to chapter) a real improvement over its predecessor. Think that deserves to be noted, alongside the (again: no doubt also valid) complaints.

I also noticed the new Dropbox feature. I have a Dropbox account but haven't linked it to the Forma yet, because I'm unclear as to what it will do. Do you have to make a dedicated books folder in Dropbox? Or will the Forma just scan all of your Dropbox for any available e-book files?
And if so, will it then automatically download them? Or does it work somewhat like the Kobo Shop library: the books are listed, but you have to manually give the command to download a title if you want to read it?

There is some discussion on how Dropbox works in a couple of threads including the one for firmware 4.18.13737. That includes a link to the help, https://help.kobo.com/hc/en-us/artic...r-with-Dropbox.

@franklekens: To answer your specific queries directly, once you've got the context of the doc in mind:

* This essentially behaves like an "App" requesting access to your Dropbox account. The authorization process will create a *new* dedicated folder on your Dropbox, and that, and only that, will be what's available from your device.
* It will then indeed work like the Shop, (in a dedicated listing available from: Hamburger menu > My Dropbox), and the usual "Download me" arrows if stuff isn't on your device (or has been updated on either side).

It's essentially wireless sideloading. You won't get in-book progress sync'ing or anything fancier.
