How long to sleep?
I have just bought a Clara HD with a SleepCover as a present for my wife. Before giving it to her I am checking that it is correctly set up and working. The only issue I have encountered so far is the SleepCover function does not appear to be working. Obviously I have the SleepCover setting turned on, but the device does not go to sleep until the auto-shutdown activates and opening the SleepCover does not wake the device. Before returning the device and/or cover I would like to know what the expected time delay is from closing the cover to the device going into sleep mode.

You definitely have a defective cover. It should go to sleep when you close immediately and wake up as soon as you open. No delay.

Thanks for your quick response. The immediate sleep mode activation was what I expected, but I just wanted to check this for a fact, before I triggered the return/replacement process.
