Current status of Onenote compatibility?
I am still considering to buy one device, even though I am hesitant. My question is if there has been any improvement in working with onenote. I know that directly using onenote is practically unusable, but at some firmware months ago, the possibility to export to onenote from within the stock app became available.
How does this work with the current firmware and especially with Max3? Are the saved notes editable in Onenote or are they just photos of the notes? Are there any workarounds even if you have to take some extra steps? For me getting either the note or the max would be first to read scientific two column pdfs, which works ok, but in order to make sense to keep handwritten notes and stop using traditional pen+pad I would want to have onenote integration. |

Note Pro exports as images so they are not editable. For me they are just for reference on other devices.

In any case a traditional notebook is essentially a photo after writing a page (at least for me, I rarely go back to change things, I use my paper notepad for keeping notes during meetings mostly, so if the export from Knote is easy it is good enough for me. Waiting for Note 2 to be out! |

I found it easy to export to OneNote but I am using EverNote now actually since I found that easier to read the exported notes in.

Evernote is very restrictive in it's free version, limited number of devices you can use it.
I used it and to be honest preferred it, but after I could not run it for free in 4 devices (desktop home, desktop work, laptop, mobile phone) I changed to OneNote. Sent from my Mi A1 using Tapatalk |
