Reformatting series index in plugin

Quick question

How can I set the series index in a plugin so that it shows up with a leading zero for single digits in series? Amazon sorts the numbers in the tiles strictly so that book 10 is shown before book 2.

Current plugin sort:

{series}{series_index:| [|] }{title}

Disregard, I saw the formatting at the top of the thread.

that gives you 02.02
5 total places (inc . )2 after the .
