Viewer Location

Can the location (e.g. epubcfi(/4/2/4/20/1:1)) be used externally , e.g via a uri link (epubcfi:///<book path>/4-2-4-20-1:1), or might that be possible in a future version - after annotations etc?

I'd like to have a way of pasting links to memorable passages in my diary.

It already can with the in browser viewer, if you look at the URL you will see the location is present in it and changes everytime you turn a page.
