Kindle Kids ereader Oct 2019
Does the £99 "Kindle Kids ereader" with 1000 books allow 3rd party books or ANY books via USB?
I tried the parental controls on my PW3 and all the books except a few of those bought from Amazon were gone. Two of my grandchildren have regular ereaders, a Binatone and a PW2 kindle, passed on. I can see zero value in a "Kids ereader" that doesn't allow a parent to load many of the kids classics on Gutenberg. Or indeed their own writing! They aren't teenagers yet but do have laptops with no internet access. |

The device is the same as the model when not sold as a Kid's model. I've never heard that parental controls blocked access to side loaded books.
